Hong Kong!

Hello everyone! I've decided to create this blog so that you can be a part of my mission in Hong Kong. I know without everyone's support I would not have the courage to take such a big leap of faith and move halfway across the world to help and serve others. The past month has been crazy as I finished up my undergraduate degree at James Madison University. With this milestone complete, I can now focus entirely on my journey ahead.

You might be asking yourself.... self? What is he going to be doing in Hong Kong? Well, Im happy to announce that I will be working for the Young Adult Service Corps as a missionary to the Mission to Seafarers. The Mission to Seafarers is an Episcopal organization that helps and supports over 1.5 million men and women working at sea. Their global network reaches over 260 ports supporting seafarers by offering practical, emotional, and spiritual support. These seafarers spend most of their time away from their homes in order to support their families. In a nutshell, the Mission to Seafarers provides support to seafarers to make their lives as normal as possible.

Here is a youtube video that will help better explain the work I will be doing:
